The bonus Kobo Daily Deal, Sisters in Bloom, is eligible for the Buy-2-Get-1-Free Melissa Foster Books promotion that they are running (but, I’d get it separately and use the promo to pick up three of the $4.99 books, instead, to maximize savings).
In the Kindle Daily Deals, I think I’ll get The Backyard Homestead, even though I have the EPUB edition, as a quick check of the sample on Kindle shows that it has better formatting of the tables and illustrations, as well as hot-links where there are page references (from the original paper edition) that my copy doesn’t have. For those looking to add a rabbit, bees or other small animals to their homesteads (or suburban back yards), The Backyard Homestead Guide to Raising Farm Animals is also on sale for $2.99. Hardcore Hugh Howey fans probably already have Half Way Home, but if you don’t be sure to grab it while it is on sale.
