The Nook Daily Find is a book I pointed out yesterday. There are supposed to be more books in their deals today, but once again their searches just return error messages (checked in two browsers, but the error message is from the back end, so I doubt it works for anyone). One has to wonder if they just can’t hire a programmer that doesn’t make their site worse and has the ability to do a simple test of the code. I mean, someone sets up the promo page every day – do they get different results clicking those links than we do or do they not even check them?

If you’ve been wanting to play Amazon’s To-Fu Fury game, but didn’t have an Amazon Fire Phone to play it on, you may be in luck. It’s now available to play on the Kindle Fire HDX devices and in the iTunes store. The Fire Phone itself is on sale again, $199 for an unlocked GSM model that includes a year of Amazon Prime – that’s a net $100 price for a nice camera/MP3 player/game machine/mini-tablet. I’m using mine to listen to audiobooks, too, as it’s portable enough to take in the car and saves a step transferring Audible titles to my MP3 player. If you do decide to use it as a phone, you can pick up a SIM card at Walmart (amongst other places) and pay for service on a month-to-month basis, when needed.
